Manwa Laage… O Manwa Laage
This heart is now attached
(The heart feels this/as if)
Laage Re Saanwre (x2)
This heart is now attached to You, O beloved
(Saanwre is actually a term used to denote a person who has a dark/wheatish complexion.
This word is also another name given to Lord Krishna, a Hindu Deity because he had dark
complexion. When poets/lyricists generally use the word Sanware, it means ‘beloved’ as
Lord Krishna is considered to be the beloved one of all)
Le Tera Hua Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka Yeh Gaaov Re
Look, this village of my heart has now become Yours
Manwa Laage… O Manwa Laage
This heart is now attached
Laage Re Saanwre (x2)
This heart is now attached to You, O beloved
Le Khela Maine Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka Hain Daav Re
Look, I’ve played a gamble with my heart
(Look, I’ve played this hand/round with my heart on the line)
Musaifir Hoon Main Door Ka
I’m a traveller from afar
Deewana Hoon Main Dhoop Ka
I’m crazy about the sunlight
Mujhe Na Bhaayein… Na Bhaayein… Na Bhaayein… Chaaon Re…
I don’t like the shade
Manwa Laage… O Manwa Laage
This heart is now attached
Laage Re Saanwre (x2)
This heart is now attached to You, O beloved
Le Tera Hua Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka Yeh Gaaov Re
Look, this village of my heart has now become Yours
Hey… Hey…
Aisi Waisi Boli Tere Naino Ne Boli
What language did Your eyes speak
Jaane Kyun Main Doli Aisa Laage Teri Holi Main…
That I started dancing in this way and I started feeling as if I’ve become Yours
Tu Mera...
And You're mine
Mmm... Tune Baatein Kholi Kacche Dhaago Mein Piroli
You’ve started/opened this talk and woven it using a weak thread
Baaton Ki Rangoli Se Na Kheloon Aise Holi
With such colourful talks, I don’t play Holi (Festival of colours)
(Rangoli is a folk art from India in which patterns are created on the floor in living rooms
or courtyards using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals.
It is usually made during Indian festivals such as Diwali, Holi, Onam, Pongal and many more.
They are meant to be sacred welcoming areas for the Hindu deities. Here Rangoli just denotes colours)
Main... Na Tera…
I’m not yours
Ho... Kisi Ka Toh Hoga Hi Tu
You’ll surely be someone’s
(You’ll surely belong to someone someday)
Kyun Na Tujhe Main Hi Jeetoon
Why shouldn’t I win You
Khule Khwaabon Mein… Jeetey Hain… Jeetey Hain… Baawarein…
In an open world of their dreams, only crazy/wild people live (and are victorious)
Mann Ke Dhaage, O Mann Ke Dhaage
On the string/thread of the heart
Dhaage Pe Saaware (x2)
On the string of the heart, O beloved
Hain Likha Maine Tera Hi, Tera Hi, Tera Hi Toh Naam Re…
I’ve written only Your name
Ras Boondiya Nain Piya Raas Rache
With eyes full of nectar my beloved is dancing Raas
(Raas is a form of Indian folk dance belonging to the state of Gujarat. Raas
sometimes also means the dance of destiny, which is controlled by Hindu deity Lord Krishna)
Dil Dhad Dhad Dhadke Shor Mache
The heart is beating very fast and making a lot of noise
Yun Dekh Sekh Sa Lag Jaye
On looking at him I feel burning sensation
Main Jal Jaaoon Bas Pyaar Bachein
(Finally) I get completely burnt and only love remains
Aise Dore Dale Kaala Jaadu Naina Kaale
Your enchanting black eyes have cast a spell on me
Tere Main Hawale Hua Seene Se Lagale
I belong to You now, embrace me
Aaa... Main Tera...
Come now, I’m Yours
Ho… Dono Dheeme Dheeme Jaley
Let’s both of us burn slowly
Aaja Dono Aise Mile
Let’s get united in such a way
Zameen Pe Laage… Na Tere… Na Mere… Paaon Re…
That neither Yours nor my feet touch the ground/Earth
Manwa Laage… Manwa Laage
This heart is now attached
Laage Re Saanware (x2)
This heart is now attached to You, O beloved
Le Tera Hua Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka Ye Gaaon Re…
Look, this village of my heart has now become Yours
Rahun Main Tere Naino Ki, Naino Ki, Naino Ki Chaaov Re...
May I always remain in the shade of Your eyes
Le Tera Hua Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka, Jiya Ka Yeh Gaaov Re
Look, this village of my heart has now become Yours
Rahun Main Tere Naino Ki, Naino Ki, Naino Ki Chaaov Re...
May I always remain in the shade of Your eyes

Hello @Shani, Thank You for writing to us regarding the possible error. We had a look into it and we have to tell You that the song translation is according to the original audio of this song and not according to the video. Hence the time and the verses come in different order and are shortened in the video version of the song. The verse "Mann Ke Dhaage" in the audio song comes later on and it can also be found in the lyrics. We hope that You understand why there's a difference in verses. Thank You for Your feedback. BollyNook team wishes You a pleasant day :)
