--> Sonam's father Anil Kapoor is Punjabi and mother is a Sindhi. They have a total of 76 relatives.

--> She was born in the suburb of Chembur, Mumbai. The family moved to a house in the suburb of
Juhu, where her parents still reside, when she was one month old. They had one apartment at that
time with just one room furnished. After her father became a big star he built the entire house.
